Not just a wine store. We carry domestic and imported cheeses and make delicious sandwiches too. You'll find rare and hard to find cheeses from all over the world as well as exciting domestic cheeses such as Point Reyes and Maytag Blue. Come to our wine bar and let us create a cheese platter for you that will pair beautifully with the wine selection of the night. Discovering new cheese is as fun as discovering new wines!
Our deli opens at 11:00 am at which time we begin creating our fabulous deli style sandwiches. They are piled thick with fresh roast beef, turkey, ham, salami, corned beef or Tuna salad. We then add our special ingredient, bread and butter pickles. You can order them without the pickles, but you'd be missing out. They make these monstrous sandwiches wonderful and unique. Perfect for Rosebowl and Hollywood Bowl picnics, company lunches, and parties. Call us ahead of time and they will be fresh to order and ready for pickup or delivery (50.00 minimum for delivery).
Some of the Italian cheeses we normally stock are Mascarpone, Myzithra, Fontina, Bufala Mozzarella, Talleggio Vero, Parmigiano Reggiano, Grace's Basil Torta and Il Boschetto.
Some of the French cheeses we normally stock are Couturier 4 Pepper Goat, Couturier Garlic Herb Goat, Valle Camebert, St. Nectaire, Belletoile, Peacock Brie with Herbs, St. Andre, Mimolette, Ossau-Iraty, P'tit Basque, Le Truffier and Roquefort.

Cyndie Tran is an apt store manager as she was raised in the retail wine business.
Her passion is discovering new and different wines that she can introduce to her customers.
Cyndie says there are way too many wines to be drinking the same wine every day. Working at
the Pasadena store allows her to host tastings of her latest discovery.
Tom Snowbeck is an extraordinary wine specialist who also happens to be a Marine Corp
veteran. He has worked in the wine trade since 1965 holding positions in both the retail
and wholesale sides of the industry. He has toured hundreds of wineries and has tasted
thousands of wines. His travels include four trips to the European vineyards and numerous
trips to Napa and Sonoma. His favorite wines are Bordeaux and the more elegantly styled
California Reds. Two things that Tom really likes are, “the great Australian Reds and
working with customers of all levels of wine savy.”
Karly Tortorice, our deli chief, was born and raised in West Seattle and has been
living in Pasadena for the past 2 1/2 yrs. She's a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena
and is currently working as a line cook at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel as well as Le Petit Vendome.
Karly says she likes working at Le Petit Vendome because of the amount of knowledge she gains
from working with Tom, Cyndie & Allen and because she is constantly discovering new and exciting food pairings.
Alan Oreman, wine specialist, was in the record business for over three decades in promotion and was responsible for breaking and extending the careers of many artists. Some you probably
never heard of. He has a passion for wine and music. He recently crossed over to the wine business and has been an avid wine collector for many years. He got the winebug while he was just beginning in the music industry while at an expensive dinner (of course, on his company expense account) and had a bottle of 74 Mondavi Cab Reserve and the rest is history (including that big expense account). He feels that there are so many wines and so little time to drink them all, but he tries his best.
